China WindPower has collaborated with China Power Investment Ltd, Liaoning Energy Investment Group Ltd which is the federal energy investment platform of Liaoning province, and the Shanghai Stock Exchange listed Shanghai Shenhua Holdings Co. Ltd. In terms of international cooperation, China WindPower has worked with world-renowned CLP Holdings Limited in Hong Kong to set up a joint venture to develop and carry out wind power plant investments. Furthermore, China WindPower, in collaboration with Jiangsu Guoxin Asset Management Group, are dedicated to comprehensively researching wind power, solar power, and other sources of energy and have signed an agreement to form a consortium to participate in off-shore wind power project development.
In the field of wind turbine manufacturing, CWP is in collaboration with the world-top wind turbine manufacturing companies, such as China Dongfang Electricity Ltd., Xinjiang Goldwind Technology Ltd., Sinovel Wind Group Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Electrical Group in the aspects of wind turbine purchasing, the introduction of a new turbine models and R&D of onshore and offshore wind turbines.
In the field of operation and management, CWP is in collaboration with the world-renowned Garrad Hassan Group and Fengneng Sgurr Renewable Energy Technology Ltd UK. These companies possess extensive technological knowledge and are at the forefront when it comes to advanced technological experience in wind resource assessment as well as the running and maintenance of wind power farms.
In the field of financial services, CWP has cooperated with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), China Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China, China Construction Bank, China Development Bank, HSBC, Hang Seng Bank and China Everbright Bank in financing projects. Furthermore , China Construction Bank (Liaoning Branch) grants a stand-by credit line of RMB 5 billion to the Group which will be used to support its business development in China.
